Vision Statements
Create a broad vision statement to help us guide our decisions about technology. Please use the highlighter to identify the key/important words in your vision statement that you hope will be incorporated into the final statement.
Four groups of teachers from mixed disciplines worked together to produce their broad Vision Statement.
1. The Oak Bluffs School will provide students with the necessary skills to integrate technology responsibly and effectively and safely across the curriculum and in their daily lives.
2. The Oak Bluffs School Community will be confident problem solvers that demonstrate computer literacy with responsible use.
3. The OB School will integrate technology into the curriculum in order to develop students who are technologically literate...able to be adaptable and transfer their skills to new and quickly changing technology...Who are able to critically evaluate info and tools..
4. Students and staff will work collaboratively to integrate technology into their teaching and learning in an appropriate, etchical, proficient, discerning and safe manner.
